Fees
LSMSA is a publicly funded, secondary school that does not charge tuition.
- All fees are related to residential/food costs or to provide certain services/ supplies.
- College-level textbooks are provided at no charge.
- Students are able to eat all meals in the Eagle Eatery Dining Hall.
- Inability to pay will not prevent qualified students from attending.
Personal items, travel, and phone expenses are the family’s responsibility.

Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
